Short Review: Total Recall

I was watching Total Recall earlier. It was pretty good.
I love the storyline and graphics. Love the effects as well.

One scene that catch my thought was when Harry (Bokeem Woodbine)showed up and tried to made Doug/Hauser (Colin Farrell) believes that it was his dream, that he was still in the Rekall and that was just his memory. His dream.

Well, real or not, you need to watch this movie to find out.
7/10 from me. ;)

Short Review: Ghost Rider 2 - Spirit of Vengeance

ok. right after I finished the Wrath of The Titans review, I've planned to post this. so, here I am.

for the very first time in my life, Nicolas Cage disappointed me.
I was not expecting much from this movie. I mean, this movie being normally awesome is more than enough for me. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.

the story line sucks. this is the worst I've ever seen. I don't get it. I don't understand what is the purpose of the kid, Danny. he's just a son of Roarke. then what? I mean, really disappointing.

second thing I hate about Ghost Rider 2 is the bad ending. oh my.
you know it seems like the story and the ending is disconnected. and when that happens, you know that movie shouldn't be on your to-watch list.

after all I'll give this rate 3 out of 10. -3 for the ridiculous story line. -3 for the bad ending. -1 for the disappointment.

Short Review: Wrath Of The Titans

hiya there. I kinda miss you. I already prepared two post before this one, but I'm not in the mood to finish them.
so this one goes first.

I went to cinema on Wed without any plan what movie I would like to watch. I was confused. but then, my boyfriend helped me decided what movie I we should watch: Wrath of The Titans.



so I just found out that Wrath of The Titans is the part of Clash of The Titans. I haven't watched the Clash of The Titans tho.

for me, Wrath of The Titans is a standard movie. I mean, you will see Perseus, the son of Zeus fight against his grandfather, Kronos, and then save the world.

with a lot of computer effect, I don't like this movie too much. I love old movies but if you add more animations, it'll look like bullshit for me.

meanwhile, Agenor, the son of Poseidon, which is also a half human and half God, successfully rose my mood that time. he is so funny I think I'm in love with him.

well, after all, I'll give this movie rate 6 out of 10. -2 because too much animation. and -2 again for the boring story line.

Live and Die On This Day

I just got back from see The Grey with my man.
this is an another great movie in 2012.

Ottway (Liam Neeson) is a wolves killer paid by an oil company in Alaska to protect the oil drilling team.
on the last day of his work, he wrote a letter to his wife and planned on suicide.
but then, the roar of the wolves woke him up.

on his way home, a snowstorm made the plane crash in the middle of nowhere.
so this movie is about 8 people who survived that plane crash.
they are Ottway, Hendrick (Dallas Robert), Diaz (Frank Grillo), Talget (Dermot Mulroney), Lewenden (James Badge Dale), Burke (Nonso Anozie), Flannery (Joe Anderson) and Hernandez (Ben Bray).
safe from crucify accident, they were confronted with wolves that surrounded that place.
slowly but sure, the wolves killed them all one by one.
they were trying to revenge but the wolves are stronger.

this movie teaches us how to appreciate our life.
the lesson that I learned from this movie is, we can't keep off accident. we don't know when or where it's gonna happen.
so, tell that someone you loved that you love them.

1. The "I'm Flying" Scene (Titanic - 1997)

Rose: Hello Jack. I changed my mind. They said you might be out here.

Jack: Shhh. Gimme your hand. Now close your eyes, go on. Now step up. Now hold on to the railing. Keep your eyes closed, don't peek.

Rose: I'm not.

Jack: Step up on the railing. Hold on, hold on. Keep your eyes closed. Do you trust me?

Rose: I trust you.

[Jack opens Rose's arms]

Jack: All right. Open your eyes.

Rose: [gasp] I'm flying, Jack!

2. The Dancing Scene (The Notebook - 2004)

Noah: Do you want to dance with me?

Allie: Sure.

[Noah reaches out Allie's hand]

Allie: Now?

Noah: Mm-hmm

Allie: Here?

Noah: Mm-hmm

Allie: Not supposed to dance in the middle of the streets

Noah: Who said dance in the streets?

[Allie chuckles]

Allie: And we don't have any music

Noah: Well, we'll make some.

[start dancing]

Noah: Bum, bum, bum, bum, bum

Allie: [chuckles] You're a terrible singer

Noah: I know

Allie: But I like this song

[Dancing to I'll Be Seeing You]

3. The Daffodils Scene (Big Fish - 2003)

[Sandra wakes up and looks at her window]

Sandra: [Says happily] Daffodils

Edward: I called everyone in 5 states I told them it was the only way to get my wife to marry me.
Sandra: You don't even know me.
Edward: I have the rest of my life to find out.

4. The Laying-On-The-Street Scene (The Notebook - 2004)

Noah: [Walking to the middle of the street] Come here, I want to show you something

Allie: You're gonna get run over.
Noah: [Teasing Allie because there are no cars] By all the cars?
[Noah lays down in the middle of the street]
Noah: My dad and I used to coume out here and lay down and watch the lights change and watch them go from green to red to yellow. [To Allie] You could try it if you wanted to.
Allie: No
Noah: Why not?
Allie: Because.. I don't know. Will you just get up?
Noah: That's your problem, you know that? You don't do what you want.
Allie: [Looking around to see if there's a car] Okay.
[Allie lays down and chuckles]
Allie: What happens if a car comes?
Noah: We die.
Allie: What?
Noah: Just relax. Just trust. You need to learn how to trust.
Allie: Okay.
[Silence]
Allie: Painting.
Noah: Hmm?
Allie: You asked me what I do for me.
Noah: What now?
Allie: I love to paint.
Noah: Yeah?
Allie: Mm-hmm.
Noah: Huh.
Allie: Most of the time, I have all these thoughts bouncing around in my head. But with a brush in my hand, the world just gets kinda quiet.
[Car honks]
[Allie yells and they run to the sidewalk]

5. The First Praying Scene (The Book of Eli - 2010)

Eli: [To Solara] Sit.

[Solara sits]

Solara: What are you doing?

Eli: Trust me, give me your hands.

[Solara gives her hands]

Eli: Close your eyes.

Eli: [Pray] Dear Lord, we thank You for this meal. We thank You for the warm bed and a roof over our heads on cold nights such as this. It's been too long.

Solara: Is this from your book?

Eli: Sshh.. Don't interrupted. Close your eyes.

[Eli continues pray]

Eli: We thank You for the gift of companionship in hard times like these, Amen.

Solara: Now we eat?

Eli: Now we eat.

The Limitless Losers

I watch 3 movies in a row. I mean, I watch The-A-Team yesterday, Limitless this afternoon, and just got off with The Losers.

so, between these 3 movies, I love The-A-Team the most. then The Losers and Limitless.

IMO, Limitless is a little bit confusing. doesn't mean I don't like the movie. it's just not what I'm expected to. I expect more action, more great conversation, MORE. but that's what I get.

Limitless is kinda like a book I ever read "Flowers For Algernon". someone who was nothing become real precious. the different is, in this movie, Eddie (Bradley Cooper) got anything he wants. in the end, he make this medicines in his lab. but in that book, Charlie dies in the end of the story.

soooo, Limitless is not that good. I give 3-Star rate to this movie.

The Losers. I like this. :)
Clay, Cougar, Pooch, Roque, and Jensen. 5 men that supposed to be killed by a man named Max in Bolivia. but unfortunately, they're not in the helicopter. so, Max kills wrong people.

they plan to take revenge, but Roque betray them all. they have Aisha too. Aisha is a daughter of a man named Fadhil who killed by Clay. just watch the movie and you'll know.

Pooch is real funny. I'm laughing so hard at this man. lmao. =))=))

The Losers got 4-Star rate from me.

I watch this movie 2 days in a row. the first version is in Russia, and the second one is (finally) in English. damn man.
Bradley Cooper is hot. not hotter than my man though.

so, this movie was released a year ago. my man already told me about this movie but I can't find it anywhere and just found it now.
The-A-Team (The Alpha Team) is including Liam Neeson (Hannibal), Bradley Cooper (Face), Quinton Jackson (B.A), and Sharlto Copley (Murdock).
it's totally funny and awesome. I mean, it's just cool.

I don't like Jessica Biel's here. I mean, she doesn't fit the character. I prefer Cameron Diaz or Mila Kunis. or maybe Keira Knightley. those women way better I think. no offense to all of you who loves her.

if you see the poster of this movie, it says "There's No Plan B". I like how these men think about making plan. things not always happen as what you plan but plan is still a plan. keep doing it. lol.
this is awesome.

aaaaand, I finally now where my man get his "A-ha, Okay, Whassup, Shut Up!" thing. lol. it's the soundtrack.

I own this movie like months. but, I just watched it today.
